A PLANT SHOP
November 2017
A plant shop was designed and made in November and December 2017. This is one of my earliest works. In this work, I did not add objects other than plants. This is a simpler illustration compared to recent works. But I love this design. I used a variety of plant species, that's the charm of this work.
COSINESS
December 2017
The Cosiness is the work of the end of 2017. In this work, I still preferred only plants, but already here I began to try to add details - a frame, a pattern on pots, a marble tabletop. It was interesting to work on it.
THE LOFT
May 2018
I made a sketch of the loft back in January 2018, but I finished it only in May. It took a lot of time to think through all the details, because then I did the sketches in pencil, and I made the color decisions during the creation process. I literally did one or two plants a week, and therefore thought about the next. The loft was one of the first works of this format, but more complex in comparison with the first works.
TERRACE GARDEN
November 2018
The Terrace garden was created in the fall of 2018. I remember how I wanted to make a simple, minimal design. Only plants, nothing more. The name was coined later. I looked at this picture and wondered what it was like. And I realized that this is our city life. These are our balconies or loggias in high-rise apartments. This is an attempt to make your own green garden in a city setting.
TERRARIUM LIBRARIAN
February 2019
The sketch for Terrarium librarian was made in January 2018, together with The loft. But it was only created from paper a year later. I wanted to make it feel like a country house. So I chose the striped walls of green hay color and added wine bottle and wicker basket. An interesting fact - the name was suggested by my Instagram follower when I first showed this work. I really liked the sound of this Latin name.
MOROCCO
February 2020
I have long cherished the idea of oriental design. And in February 2019, I made the Morocco design. It took about a month to create the work. I wanted to create a design all of the sun and warmth. I chose special flowering plants and flowers - orchid, magnolia, anthurium. And the wallpaper pattern was drawn based on oriental ornaments.
A BOOKSHELF WITH PLANTS
June 2020
This work is probably my favorite. I literally enjoyed every minute I did it. Because I really love books. I read a lot. And I loved choosing the covers for these books and also putting them on the shelves. This design tells a lot about me. Books, plants, even a camera. And also a frame with a quote from Thomas S. Monson is also about me, this is my credo, my rule of life. I am happy to share this with you.
MUSIC ROOM
August 2020
The music room was made in August 2020. In this work, I tried to add volume to the bricks by cutting off each edge at an angle. A total of 161 bricks. I also added different color tones and textures to some bricks using watercolors. It was very fun trying to add as much realism to the details as possible. I also like the little pictures on the shelves, which are also made of paper, not drawn. I am fascinated by adding more complex details to a new work every time.
SWEET HOME
October 2020
My work Sweet Home was done in the fall of 2020. This is the home of each of us in 2020. It was a challenging year as we tried to stay healthy while working from home and staying in social isolation. But with this work, I wanted to show that home is our safe place, and it should be a resource for us. Therefore, I showed my next cozy corner, in which you or I could relax and have tea, between household and work chores.
